Are you the kind of person who has digital files full of awesome, random artwork that you've created over the years?  Never thought anybody would have a use for these oddball designs?  Want to make money whenever anybody uses your artwork to design a t-shirt or other product??

Although our plan was to come to the table with an impressive array of stock clip art for our users, things have not worked out as smoothly as we would have liked.  Our former in-house artist, who had promised to work on a clip art package, never fulfilled his obligations.  We cut the dead weight, and are now looking for talented artists who are interested in submitting potential artwork for our immediate review!

Due to the greatly expanded print capabilities of DTG printing, we are not limited to simple, one color clip art that you might be used to seeing on many other online t-shirt designers.  Instead, we are looking for artists who can push the creative envelope, creating high quality, full color artwork from a variety of categories.  Here is a very short list of potential clip art categories:

   - Animals
   - Sports
   - People
   - Vehicles
   - Nature
   - Business
   - Background splatters (for popular "MMA-style" designs, calling for a background filler)
   - Monsters / Science Fiction
   - Skulls
   - ETC!

Don't let this list hold you back; if you come up with a list of your own, and you think people would be interested in using your designs, let us know!  Instead of being paid once for your designs, why not get paid each and every time someone uses them for their products, or each and every time one of those products sells?  Well, now you can!

We are still looking for talented artists!  Take a look at several popular t-shirt designs on the internet, and see how so many employ a "splatter" type background effect (similar to many "fight gear" style shirts); one clip art category that will be incredibly helpful to develop at this early stage is Background Art, which our users could then use as a backdrop to their existing artwork / text.  Well designed back drops can add a lot to a design, so get those computers fired up and start designing!

Background images will be used over and over and over again by artists / Store Owners all over the world, spread across various designs and multiple sales of each different shirt design; remember, as a contributing clip art artist, you make a small commission each and every time your artwork is used on a shirt that gets sold, anywhere in the world!

What format are you looking for the art to be in? Does it need to be able to change colors or can it be submitted as static.

All artwork should be submitted using the following criteria:

   - 200 dpi resolution
   - CMYK color space
   - PDF / PNG / PSD file with transparent background
   - Images do not need to be able to change color
   - Images can be anything from a fancy background splash, to a center piece mascot, to any other element of a complete t-shirt design (they do not need to be full compositions; the idea is to allow the users of the APPL platform to mix-and-match design elements, along with their own designs, to create in-depth, professional looking items)

We will create an online upload tool, soon, to allow potential artists to submit their work for review.  However, for now, all potential artwork can now be submitted to artwork@approductlabs.com .   Thanks for your interest!

Just a suggestion; when creating your designs, think of changes you can make to allow for greater flexibility as people implement your images into their compositions.  For instance, if you were to create a green zombie character for use on t-shirts and such, it might also be beneficial to create a purple zombie of the same nature.  Each image would be treated separately, and the end user will be presented with more options.

NOTE: Not all images lend themselves to creating alternate colored versions.  It is recommended that you do not arbitrarily make small changes to your artwork, simply to create more files to submit; stick to lower numbers of higher-quality artwork, with alternate versions where appropriate.
