Check it out, guys; we re-created the forum at its new home on the APPL server, but we were unable to transfer the database information for some reason. When you go to the new forum, you will need to recreate your account. Don't worry! We will have the new place looking sparkly clean and fancy within a couple of days. Until then, post away! http://www.approductlabs.com/forum/index.php

Well, we finally did it! We moved to our new home: http://www.approductlabs.com/forum/index.phpPardon our dust, over there, while we work to make everything functional; we ended up having to recreate the forum, and import as much of the old data as possible by hand... There is still some more work to do, visually, but posting is now operational! Please log in with your same user name and password! EDIT: It seems that not all the posts were exported to the new framework... I'll work on it again, tonight, and see what I can do!

... to a more appropriate home. Following the initial launch of the www.approductlabs.com domain, we are pleased to announce that our APPL community forum (along with the BETA Tester Zone) is being relocated to the APPL domain. A live link will be posted within a few hours, but don't panic when you can no longer post on this forum! This version will be available for archive purposes, for at least the next several weeks.

Just a suggestion; when creating your designs, think of changes you can make to allow for greater flexibility as people implement your images into their compositions. For instance, if you were to create a green zombie character for use on t-shirts and such, it might also be beneficial to create a purple zombie of the same nature. Each image would be treated separately, and the end user will be presented with more options.
NOTE: Not all images lend themselves to creating alternate colored versions. It is recommended that you do not arbitrarily make small changes to your artwork, simply to create more files to submit; stick to lower numbers of higher-quality artwork, with alternate versions where appropriate.

All artwork should be submitted using the following criteria: - 200 dpi resolution - CMYK color space - PDF / PNG / PSD file with transparent background - Images do not need to be able to change color - Images can be anything from a fancy background splash, to a center piece mascot, to any other element of a complete t-shirt design (they do not need to be full compositions; the idea is to allow the users of the APPL platform to mix-and-match design elements, along with their own designs, to create in-depth, professional looking items)We will create an online upload tool, soon, to allow potential artists to submit their work for review. However, for now, all potential artwork can now be submitted to artwork@approductlabs.com . Thanks for your interest!

For those of you who have this forum bookmarked, be prepared to update your links! We will be moving the APPL community forum to a new hosting server, tomorrow! Although this forum will technically still be viewable for a short while, you will need to visit the new forum site to post and interact. The new root domain will be www.approductlabs.com , which will also contain sign up information for the new APPL platform, as well as account management and more. You will not need to sign up as a new member, and all existing topics / posts will be retained. We will keep you posted as we make this critical transition! Thanks for sticking around, guys; we are nearing the light at the end of the tunnel...

... But then again I always ask: "What is the worst that could possibly happen" before I do it, and "It seemed like a good idea at the time" after. You and me, both!
